Danube Cycle Path: Closure due to high water lifted

UPDATE 5.8.2020: The District Authority of Tulln is lifting the flood alarm for the Klosterneuburg area with immediate effect. All measures taken are to be rescinded.

Dear Cyclists!

As the Danube's water level is currently over 6 meters, the Danube Cycle Path in the Höflein – Klosterneuburg (Vienna border) catchment area has been officially closed for safety reasons. The closure of the Danube Cycle Path is expected to be lifted again in 1 to 1.5 days, provided the water level is below 6 meters. As an alternative, a diversion was set up at Kritzendorf onto public transport routes.
