A production with Melanie Thiemer, who opens and utilizes doors to special locations in Klosterneuburg Abbey. With „Leisure Hour of the Emperor's Daughter,“ the narrator and cultural mediator is a guest at Klosterneuburg Abbey for the second time with her lively productions. Four dates will take place from August to October 2021.
At every corner, behind every door, countless stories in the centuries-old monastery are waiting to be told and brought back to life. It is not just a tour that Melanie Thiemer takes her guests on. It is a journey to significant historical sites through the eyes of Agnes of Waiblingen, the wife of Margrave Leopold III, „the Holy,“ of Austria and founder of the Klosterneuburg Monastery.
The Margravine shows the monastery rooms and looks back at the past with humor and thoughtfulness. The fame of her husband and what remains of it today occupies her as much as her own role at his side. The narrator and cultural mediator Melanie Thiemer is a guest at Klosterneuburg Abbey for the second time with her vivid performances.

Through performances and surprising stagings, visitors immerse themselves in a world of the past and traverse different epochs of history. Doors and windows are opened to fascinating stories on these evenings.
