„Women in Business“ NÖ sweeps the nationwide entrepreneur award
With the EntrepreneurWoman Award ’21, „Women in Business“ and „Die Presse“ honor the merits of women active in business.
Category Social Entrepreneurship
In this category, female entrepreneurs could apply who are seeking innovative and long-term solutions for societal challenges, e.g., in the areas of environment, sustainability, education, integration, or job creation.
In the top 3 in this category is Marietta Babos from Klosterneuburg with her company Damensache. Marietta Babos helps women lead financially independent lives. The platform www.damensache.at its goal is to educate women about finances and retirement planning and to support them in implementing these plans individually. Optimal solutions are used to specifically address the financial stumbling blocks in women's working lives.
The winners were honored on June 24, 2021, as part of a hybrid event. The state chairwoman of Women in Business NÖ, Vera Sares, was also present via video message: „This award showcases the pioneering spirit, innovative strength, and uniqueness of Lower Austria's ‚Women in Business‘. I am truly very proud of the four honored female entrepreneurs.“
