The Mercato Italiano brings Dolce Vita, Italian flair, and culinary delights to Klosterneuburg. From September 8th to 11th, a wide selection of fresh, regional products will be offered daily from 9 AM to 9 PM at Rathausplatz.

Lindy Hop Dance Party

Enjoy the last summer evenings at Wagerl ins Glück by the stream in Weidling (Gasthaus Trat) from Thursday to Sunday, 5 PM to 10 PM, with delicious snacks and refreshing drinks. This Friday, there's even a free dance taster session from 6 PM to 7 PM, followed by dancing for everyone! The event will only take place in good weather.

Shisha & Cocktails

Weekly market at Stadtplatz

Visit the weekly market at the Stadtplatz on Saturday from 6 AM to 1 PM. The market vendors offer a wide range of products: fruit, vegetables, eggs, butter, cheese, honey, pickled vegetables, bread and pastries, sausages, bacon and meat, schnapps and wine, as well as flowers, plants, and arrangements. The offerings are adapted to the season. 

Scouts' Opening Festival

Come and try it out this Saturday from 3 PM at the kids' afternoon of the Scouts' opening festival at Leopoldstraße 31-33 in Klosterneuburg. A colorful afternoon full of fun and adventure awaits the little ones. Test your skills at the stations, including your agility, comfort with heights, and your crafting and painting abilities. For sustenance, the grill master will provide excellent treats. Starting at 7 PM, guests can enjoy a cozy evening by the campfire with live music.

The Salon. Louise presents „Viennese Stories and All Kinds of Nonsense“ on Saturday at 7:00 PM at the Schwed House, Am Heuweg 28 in Kritzendorf. Binder Hansl is a true Favoriten kid. He has now put his stories and experiences on paper and presents all sorts of things he has heard in his life. The hosts will provide food and drink of their usual high quality. Dirndl & Lederhosen meet at the cellar gathering

Don your dirndls & lederhosen! The Kellertreff (formerly Stollkeller) is celebrating a traditional costume party on Saturday starting at 8 PM and will be going all out.

Monastery Herbs Expedition

Traditional European medicine is deeply rooted in the monastery apothecary gardens. The Bible mentions more than a hundred plant species, and it was always monasteries that researched and cataloged their effects on body, mind, and soul. The gardens of Stift Klosterneuburg are home to many of these medicinal plants. On Sunday, from 10 AM to 12 PM, enjoy the unique opportunity to enter the fascinating garden world immerse yourself in the over 900-year-old collegiate church. Discover many medicinal and sacred plants on a two-hour walk through the collegiate gardens with scientist Dr. scient. med. Patricia Ricci Purker. The price is €29.90 per person. The Empress's Daughter's Hour of Leisure

Embark on a journey through significant historical sites with Melanie Thiemer, as Agnes of Waiblingen, wife of Margrave Leopold III „the Holy“ of Austria and founder of the Klosterneuburg Abbey. The Margravine will show you the abbey's rooms and reflect humorously, yet thoughtfully, on the past. The fame of her husband and what remains of it today occupies her as much as her own role at his side. The meeting point for the tour is on Sunday at 4 PM at the Sala terena in Klosterneuburg Abbey. Tickets can only be booked online.

Klosterneuburg City Walk

Discover hidden treasures right on your doorstep with the Klosterneuburg city walk on Sunday at 2 PM. Learn about the little-known Martin's Quarter with its rich history and architectural gems during the St. Martin's Tour on Saturday from 4 PM to 5:30 PM. The meeting point for both is Niedermarkt.
