On the initiative of the municipality of Klosterneuburg and with the active support of Raiffeisenbank Klosterneuburg, the „Klosterneuburg Voucher“ was introduced in October 2020. With the slogan „one voucher for many businesses,“ this popular gift and means of payment is an important factor for the regional economy. In March, the sales limit of 100,000 euros in vouchers sold was broken. Currently, there are more than 45 redemption points where the voucher is valid. In time for Easter, the city marketing department is also organizing a large raffle with „voucher eggs.“.
The plan to be able to shop at many local businesses with a voucher has been successful. With more than 45 redemption points in the areas of business, gastronomy, viticulture, sports & leisure, and culture, the „K.Gutschein“ has become an indispensable part of Klosterneuburg's economic life. Whether as a birthday, Christmas, or Easter gift, for employee motivation, or as a simple thank you – the Klosterneuburg voucher is always the perfect gift.
„It's wonderful that we were able to quickly implement the idea of the Klosterneuburg voucher together with our partners during the Corona period. Today, I am pleased that the city marketing has already sold vouchers worth more than 100,000 euros in less than 2 ½ years!“ says City Councilor for Economic Affairs Christoph Kaufmann enthusiastically, adding: „Every voucher sold is redeemed in Klosterneuburg and thus promotes the regional economy.“
Just under 60 % of the total sales amount has already been redeemed, and as a result, the participating K.Partner businesses are pleased to see sales that did not go to online retailers. Vouchers can be purchased at the Stadtmarketing & Tourismus office or at the Raiffeisenbank Klosterneuburg branch on Rathausplatz, and they are redeemable immediately.
Easter giveaway with voucher eggs at the businesses
A shopper recently broke the magical sales threshold of 100,000 euros by purchasing gift certificates worth 50 euros. As a small thank you, her anniversary purchase will be doubled by the city marketing department. City councilor Kaufmann, as well as Raiffeisenbank Klosterneuburg directors Thomas Kriz & Helmut Wess, are looking forward to a personal handover, and the three of them have a tip for Klosterneuburg customers: Until April 10th, many colorful Easter eggs worth a total of 500 euros are hidden among the K.Gutschein partners. Clues for the colorful Easter egg hunt can be found on the city marketing department's website and social media channels.
„As the managing director of Raiffeisenbank Klosterneuburg, we are particularly pleased that we are part of this Klosterneuburg success story as a partner from the very beginning, and as a regional bank, we welcome this initiative, which we will gladly continue to support.“ Herr Helmut Wess & Thomas Kriz add in unison.
