Representatives from the Klosterneuburg branch of the Chamber of Commerce, together with Mayor Christoph Kaufmann, welcomed Berenike Maier, the new McDonald's franchisee, to her restaurant in Klosterneuburg in early July. The Vienna native took over the restaurant in May 2024 from her predecessor, Winfried Schmitz, becoming McDonald's Austria's youngest franchisee after studying tourism and event management in Vienna and Monaco and gaining professional experience in 5-star hotels in Vienna.
Chairwoman Martina Polndorfer of the Women in Business association, WK Chairman Markus Fuchs and WK Manager Friedrich Oelschlägel, along with Mayor Christoph Kaufmann, wished her all the best and much success for her start as hostess.
