Alternative return travel options to Passau

– BY TRAIN (ÖBB)

If you're not looking for individual travel, you can also take public transport to the main train station in Vienna and from there continue by train to Passau. There are up to 20 train connections daily from Vienna Main Station between 6:00 AM and 8:30 PM – direct connections with the ICE or with one change in Linz.

Due to the limited space for bicycles, it is recommended to [online] ÖBB Ticket Shop to enter the desired travel date and the number of people, including bicycles. This will then give you an overview of which connections allow bicycle transport.

By bike to the train

Alternatively, you can also by bike to the main train station in Vienna drive and from there start the journey home to Passau by train.
