30 years of DIE STROTTERN – „wia i tua“

30 years ago, „Die Strottern“ began their musical journey in Klosterneuburg; once beyond the city limits, the then not particularly popular traditional Viennese song became the starting point of their adventures. Since then, Klemens Lendl and David Müller have thoroughly deconstructed the Viennese song, resulting in a new musical cosmos that is understood worldwide. Their own songs are the ideal outlet for attitude, humor, and sentiment as they sing about the great emotions in the small, the wonderful failure, and the journey forward. Wordplay and points of view from contemporary poets such as Peter Ahorner or Christian Tesak, as well as their own texts, are ingeniously interpreted by them. In the Bab Hall, „Die Strottern“ present their new album „wia i tua“ and sing their favorite songs of the past 30 years.
