The members of the association are divided into functional members and ordinary members. Ordinary members are those who participate in the association's work on a voluntary basis. Functional members are those whose membership is linked to the exercise of a defined function. Functional members are also simultaneously members of the board of the association Stadtmarketing & Tourismus Klosterneuburg for the duration of their function:
- Chairman/Chairwoman of the Klosterneuburg District Winegrowers' Association
- Chairman/Woman of the Klosterneuburg Business Association
- Chairman/Chairwoman of the Klosterneuburg Host Association
- Chamber of Commerce Regional Office Chairman/Chairwoman
- Chamber of Commerce Branch Manager
- Head of Marketing at the Abbey
- Managing Director of the Klosterneuburg City Marketing & Tourism Association
The mayor of the Klosterneuburg municipality has the right to appoint up to three additional members with a seat and vote to the association's board. Currently, these are two council members from different political factions and an employee of the city administration.
The board members appointed by the mayor have the right to object unanimously to resolutions regarding the use of funds and the appointment of bodies, both in the general meeting and in the board, so that these resolutions do not come into effect despite meeting a majority quorum. However, the unanimous objection must be substantiated and may only occur if, by these resolutions, the achievement of the goals and purposes stated in the statutes or the balanced financial accounting of the association would otherwise be concretely endangered.
