Mother's Day Weekend at the VISTA Science Experience Center

On May 9th and 10th, 2026, the ISTA Campus will transform into an open research zone around the VISTA Science Experience Center. The focus will be on participation, discovery, and trying new things.

Important: Due to internal maintenance, the VISTA Science Experience Center will be closed on both days. Instead, we invite you to a diverse outdoor program. Admission is free and no registration is required.

Saturday, May 9 / 10 AM - 5 PM

Outdoor Program at the VISTA Science Experience Center

Numerous interactive stations with hands-on experiments await you. You can explore natural phenomena, test your senses, and get actively involved. The offerings include, among other things, a cucumber piano, experiments with light and water, a plant labyrinth, and exciting insights into the world of plant research.

You can join at any time. You can switch freely between stations and discover everything at your own pace. No registration is required. Just come by!

Sunday, May 10 / 10 AM - 5 PM

VISTA Science Experience Center and Redlingerhütte

Interactive stations and experiments await you again in front of the VISTA Science Experience Center. In addition, you will find more hands-on stations at the Redlingerhütte. Both locations are connected and invite you to actively explore the ISTA research campus and its surroundings.

<The Nature Explorer program can be done at both locations.: at both the VISTA Science Experience Center and the Redlingerhütte.
