Various scientific institutions, top level universities, lovingly cared-for daycare centers and kindergartens with competent specialists, and numerous other schools can be found in Klosterneuburg!

Since 2007, the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST Austria) has been located in Maria Gugging - a part of the town. It is a research institution in Austria that conducts cutting-edge research modeled after international institutions. Unlike regular universities it does not offer undergraduate studies, but exclusively Ph.D. programs. With a focus on biosciences, the Konrad Lorenz Institute in Klosterneuburg also receives international recognition and attention. As a well-known center for viticulture, the Higher Federal Education and Research Institute and Federal Office for Viticulture and Pomology plays a significant role in Klosterneuburg. Furthermore, since October 2019, the Austrian Beverage Institute in Klosterneuburg offers unique training programs to become a brewery and beverage technician.

For the little ones, there is also a variety of daycare centers, kindergartens, primary schools, new secondary schools, the federal grammar school, and most recently, the new private grammar school Klosterneuburg.
