Accessibility

The Klosterneuburg City Marketing & Tourism Association strives to align its website with Section 12 of the Lower Austria Anti-Discrimination Act 2017 for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies to make accessible free of charge.

This accessibility statement applies to the website stadtmarketing-klosterneuburg.at

Status of compliance with requirements

This website is partially compliant with conformance level AA of the „Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Web - WCAG 2.1“ and with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.

An appropriate evaluation process has been initiated and is expected to be completed by the end of March 2021.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

a) Non-compliance with accessibility regulations

b) Disproportionate burden

b.1 External Video Sources - Youtube

Our videos are hosted and published on the video platform YouTube. For some of these videos, it is not possible to provide the required audio descriptions. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.5 (Audio Description Recorded) is not met. We have assessed the costs of rectifying the issue. We consider that this would now constitute a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the accessibility regulations. We are evaluating what alternatives exist and plan to rectify the issue by summer 2021.

c) The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legal regulations

Accessibility Statement Creation

This declaration was created on September 22, 2020. The assessment of the website's compatibility with the WZG to implement the requirements of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 was carried out in the form of a self-test according to WCAG 2.0 at conformance level AA in September 2020. The homepage, an overview page, and a news page were reviewed. Individual page contents are regularly checked by the web editorial team when new content is published.
