Marko Simsa „The Colorful Camel“

On the way to school, a girl meets a camel! „Where are you going?“ asks the camel. „I'm going to school,“ answers the girl, „and you?!“ „I...“, the camel thinks, it had no plans for the day. „I'm going to discover our world...!“ And so the camel marches off, into an eventful day. At the bazaar, it meets jugglers who give it a red ribbon as a farewell gift. High up on the mountain, it sees and feels snow for the first time. Luckily, it is provided for by a mountain guide with fine knee-high socks and a warm, green hat. At a big picnic in the green meadow, among sheep and goats, it receives a fully packed yellow hiking backpack from a hospitable family. And at the river, a small child gives it a swim ring – for safety... In the early evening, when the girl returns home from school, she doesn't recognize the camel at first, so colorful is it standing before her. They make themselves comfortable at the crossroads and the camel tells of its adventures. While doing so, they nibble on delicious dates and nuts from the yellow hiking backpack. „I want to get to know this world too!“ says the girl, and they decide to go on a journey of discovery together the next morning!
