Wolfhardt Steininger, patriarch of a medium-sized company, has peacefully passed away. His designated successor, Hubert Zacherl, is organizing the funeral service. However, his message on the wreath ribbon causes considerable irritation: „In deep sorrow. Your employees.“ Before long, Hubert, the new „old white man“ at the helm, has not only alienated his Head of Marketing, the Head of Social Media, and his secretary, but also the self-assured intern. Before the theater audience, assembled as the grieving congregation, everyone ends up tearing each other apart in this highly pointed play. Not even the desperate pastor can calm the waters. An evening that sharply observes the abysses, pitfalls, and rhetorical tricks of the current discussion on politically correct „gendering“ and its socially „mandated“ social interactions.
