The Higher Federal Education and Research Institute for Viticulture and Fruit Growing Klosterneuburg (Baboensian Alma Mater, also known as LFZ Klosterneuburg), is the Austrian training and research center for viticulture and fruit growing in Klosterneuburg, Lower Austria. It is directly subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture (today: Ministry of Life/BMLFUW).
The „Viticulture School“ teaches as the only one in Austria In addition to a good general education, a comprehensive scientific education at a high level in the areas of viticulture and cellar management, fruit cultivation and fruit processing, as well as chemistry and microbiology. Building on a solid scientific and mathematical foundation, a modern, competency-oriented education in chemistry, microbiology, and economics is offered.
