This brand-new comedy version of the beloved classic is also for those who don't know the original – we promise! We are in New York in 1938. Radio station chief Garry Williams wants to save his station, which is on the brink of ruin, with a radio play adaptation of the most successful novel of its time. Preparation? Not needed! We experience the entire process live, from the spontaneous creation of the idea, through the „casting,“ where anyone who is handy is simply roped in – the hotel page, the main sponsor of Jenkins' breakfast cereal – and even Manolo, who was sent by the mafia to collect debts from Garry. Then the radio play is broadcast live. The actors slip into the roles of the novel's 100 characters, with varying degrees of ease, and also take care of all the sound effects themselves, including horse hooves. A brilliant comedy by Bernie Noris – guaranteed not to be based on Margaret Mitchell's novel.
