Building blocks of life

Workshop for Children Ages 7 – 10

Why do trees look so different from bacteria? Why do fish live in water and insects on land? Living beings have had many millions of years to adapt to the most diverse habitats. Although living beings look very different, they all have something in common – an internal „instruction manual“ made of DNA. The workshop will introduce you to the topics of evolution and genetics. Through games and experiments, you will learn how all living beings are related and how to see the DNA of strawberries.
