Comics have long been established as independent artistic language established – far beyond their origin as entertainment. In their Summer exhibition shows the Gugging Gallery, how closely this visual world is connected to Art Brut: immediate, individual, and with great formal power. „comics brut“ assembled works by Basel Al-Bazzaz, Manuel Griebler, Hannes Lehner and the Central African artist Didier Kassaï, which is being shown in Austria for the first time with his works.
