„Shallow (ish) songs“

The songs are world-renowned and are accompanied by their own Slavic lyrics. A wide range of decades and genres (chanson, Viennese song, rock, jazz) is covered. The lyrics – often very close to the original – make the songs refreshingly new and the content of the songs tangible.

The Wiesn’s stages also feature Viennese music from several decades and styles. The repertoire ranges from Gerhard Bronner’s “Gschupftem Ferdl” to “Die Kirschen” by Karl Hodina, as well as songs by Georg Danzer and Ostbahn Kurti.
