Photo Art in the Wineothek – Florian Hirzinger

Since 2014, in the wine shop of the Klosterneuburg Abbey Twice a year, photo exhibitions are shown, with the themes of food, drink, enjoyment, architecture, and nature forming a thematic focus.

Under the title »There will be Glory,« combines Florian Hirzinger two series that offer unusual perspectives on the Viennese surroundings. »Pumpjacks« shows nodding donkeys in the Marchfeld on the outskirts of Vienna, which have become a permanent feature of the landscape there, but today appear like relics from a bygone era. »The High Line« portrays the elevated track of the Vienna Stadtbahn between Spittelau and Heiligenstadt, which was decommissioned in 1996. It was later used by subway trains, but today – a listed monument – it is left to decay.
