Gunkl - „Not only, but also“

Somehow, we humans are quite tightly in the stranglehold of auxiliary verbs. Not the words themselves, but what they describe strongly determines the terrain on which our actions take place: can, must, and want.

Wer alles weiß und kann, aber nichts will, wird nix tun. Gut, außer, er muss. Aber dann macht er nur so lange, bis er nicht mehr muss. Und wenn er alles weiß und kann, wird er sich das so einrichten, dass er immer weniger muss, und dann wird er mit der Zeit auch nix mehr machen. Und so zu leben, also das muss man schon echt wollen.
