Kafka Memorial Room – Open House Day

On the occasion of Kafka's 100th birthday, a study and memorial room was opened in July 1983 in the former sanatorium by the Austrian Franz Kafka Society. It contains memorabilia from Kafka's last years of life, including photo documents, letters, and postcards (facsimiles) from the last months before his death, as well as a freely accessible library with Kafka's works, secondary literature, and translations from many languages.

Members of the Franz Kafka Society, in cooperation with the Austrian Society for Literature, manage the premises and are available to answer questions.

Viewings are currently only possible by telephone appointment or email appointment!
