Kierling Parish Portico „ASTORIA“

Astoria is a satirical play by Austrian playwright Jura Soyfer, written in 1937. The story tells of a state founded by chance, called Astoria. In a whimsical utopia, Soyfer uses humor and keen insight to show the absurdity of power structures, political corruption, and the contradictions of capitalism.

A timeless, too rarely performed piece finds its way to cultural Kierling this fall!
