Reading at St. Martin's

Patricia Brooks reads from „River Ghosts“ and „Luna Park.“

Patricia Brooks, who was involved with the Klosterneuburg Literature Society for years, is coming to Klosterneuburg at the invitation of St. Martin Library.

• „River spirits“ This is the story of two outsiders whose chance friendship brings a turning point that leads them to find a plan for their future. Adam, a successful lawyer, begins to question his life. Neither his work nor his long-term relationship with Natalie can stop the emptiness that is spreading within him and threatening to consume him. He takes a sabbatical and moves into a log cabin on the banks of the Danube to gain clarity about himself and his future.
• „Luna Park“ It stands for pleasure, rides, stalls, food stands, adventure, illusion, thrills, noise, the smell of diesel fuel and roasted almonds. It has cheap glamour and dark sides. The poems are about people who are at home everywhere, but rooted nowhere.

The reading takes place on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 7 PM in the Albrechtsberger Hall the Parish of St. Martin instead.

Following this, you are invited to a buffet at the Tönnchen!

Donations collected on-site will be made available to the hospice association!
