In this tour, you will get to know Daniel Dörler. Daniel studied zoology at the University of Vienna and then completed his doctorate at BOKU Vienna. In 2014, together with his colleague Florian Heigl, he founded the platform "Österreich forscht" (www.citizen-science.at), which he still coordinates today. This platform features research projects that everyone can participate in. Daniel talks about his career as a queer scientist and his research in and with citizen science.

After Daniel has told you about his work and experiences, the VISTA team will take you on a tour of the interactive exhibition „Science in the Making,“ where you can experience research up close.

Recommended for ages 12 and up. For children under 14, the presence of an adult chaperone is mandatory. Tickets must be booked for all persons.
