Reinhold Bilgeri – „The Conscience of the Doves“

Austria's „Rock Professor“ Reinhold Bilgeri and his current project - the novel "The Conscience of the Pigeons." He is a musician, screenwriter, author, and filmmaker, and he is a gifted writer.

Reinhold Bilgeri reads from his latest bestseller novel „The Conscience of the Doves“ – the story of a crazy love between 20-year-old Gerda and the inscrutable Piero, a 30-year-old Italian-Swiss man entangled in a smuggling mafia, which offers Gerda and her devoutly Catholic mother glimpses into the shady dealings of the Vatican, which demonstrably collaborated with Nazis and helped them flee to South America. A daring love story set in the 1950s/60s, against the backdrop of a world Gerda and her mother wouldn't have thought possible. In between, Bilgeri sings songs from the Great American Songbook.
