Workshop for children aged 9 and up

What lies beyond what our eyes can see? In this workshop, you'll explore the world of the minuscule. Discover how light and optics reveal structures that usually remain hidden. In a lab video with Professor Johann Danzl, you'll gain exciting insights into current developments in microscopy at ISTA. Afterward, you'll prepare your own samples, examine them under a microscope, and experience how surprisingly familiar things appear in a new dimension.

At the VISTA Science Experience Center, you'll gain fascinating insights into the world of research at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) and learn more about the ideas, people, and often surprising processes behind science.

The workshop is suitable for children aged 9 and up. For children under 14, the presence of an adult supervisor is mandatory. Tickets must be booked for all participants.!
