In the greenhouses and outdoor plots, they grow seedlings, summer flowers, herbs, and vegetables year-round—from lettuce, cucumbers, bell peppers, tomatoes, cabbage, and kale to zucchini, squash, and much more. They take special care to ensure production methods that are as close to nature as possible. For example, beneficial insects are used as a biological pest control, and bumblebees pollinate the tomatoes.
