13th International Orchid Exhibition 2023

The Orangerie at Stift Klosterneuburg is presenting the international Orchid Exhibition for the thirteenth time in 2023. With an area of 2,000 m², it is the largest of its kind in Austria.

In the heated exhibition tent of the convention garden and in the orangery, visitors are offered a large number of interesting exhibitors. Individual advice, a variety of orchid blooms, rare plants, accessories, and decorative items all around the queen of flowers.

The exhibition in the orangery, built in the 19th century by Joseph Kornhäusel, tells the story of the orchid's significance in the monarchies of Europe. Starting with Empress Maria Theresa, whose 300th birthday Klosterneuburg Abbey is celebrating in 2017 with its annual exhibition in the imperial rooms, up to Crown Princess Mette Marit of Norway.
