Is hope the sister of fear?

In this unique exhibition, chamber singer and painter Herbert Lippert combines his two professions. His oil paintings and the music composed for them take the viewer on an artistic journey.
The choice of color in the oil paintings reflects the thematic duality: „anxious“ reds and „hopeful“ blues and greens, figurative depictions and narrative color depth show the engagement with this theme.
The song cycle, composed by Rainer Bischof specifically for this occasion, based on Franka Lechner's deeply moving poetry, premiered with cellist Wolfgang Panhofer and singer Herbert Lippert. This premiere performance was recorded and can be heard and seen in the exhibition.
